If it wasn't already obvious from my lack of posts, I haven't been doing much scrapping lately. It's not that I've been too busy. I have plenty of time. So much has been going on in my life. I'm not the same person I was six months... a year ago. I'm just not feeling creative in that way right now. Losing my beloved mother has made me view my life through fresh eyes. I've developed some new interests and have been focussing my time and energy on my family. I'm not selling all my stuff or making a big announcement that I'm giving up scrapping for good. I'm just calling it a break. I've stepped down from all my designing commitments. I would like to thank Nicole and Andrew from Twiddleybitz, Mandie from The Scrap Cottage and Sue from Australian Scrapbook Ideas for being so understanding and supportive.
It's likely that I will begin studying for a new career soon. I've been researching something I've been passionate about for a long time and would love to work in that field. It might involve starting a new blog that has nothing to do with craft. For now I'm just going to leave this one sitting here and see what happens. I will personally miss your gorgeous creations, but you've got to do what is right for you. I hope you find the 'peace' you are looking for & I'll keep my fingers crossed you find that passion for scrapbooking again down the line.
